Sometimes you just need someone who speaks your language.

They say 'a picture paints a thousand words' but what if all you have is words? What if those words were in a second, or even third, language?  This is where interpretation becomes crucial. We have many years’ experience in providing British Sign Language interpreting services in the courts, at international sporting events, and at leading cultural and media events.

As an employer, we are committed to the employment opportunities of Deaf people and as such only supply native, qualified, and NRCPD registered interpreters.

INTERNATIONAL SIGN INTERPRETATION:

We are proud to be one of the few organisations who can supply accredited IS interpreters. All of our Interpreters are accredited by the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) and the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters (WASLI).

We care about our profession and offer mentoring to trainee and newly-qualified interpreters.

We are a small but highly skilled team led by Ramon Woolfe. Over his career, Ramon has provided International Sign interpretation for FIFA, The United Nations, UNCRPD, London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and numerous others. He is an experienced conference interpreter and is leading the way in Deaf/hearing interpreting teams. As one of the few qualified Deaf interpreters, he regularly delivers training on how hearing and Deaf interpreters can work together to further the profession.

Don't just take our word for it, here's what our clients say about us:

Ramon is committed to the profession of interpreting and has been for many years. He is a native user of BSL and as such is a fluent and sophisticated user of the language. His use of English is of an extremely high level.

Liz Scott Gibson Former World Association of Sign Language Interpreters President

I have worked with Ramon Woolfe and his company for over 4 years through my work as the Gender and Development Advisor at the International Disability Alliance.  I have used Mr Woolfe’s IS services both virtually (online) and in-person with his team during COSP and CSW in NY.   His professionalism, technical skill and flexibility is unmatched and was critical when interpreting at the United Nations level. I continually used Mr Woolfe’s services because of his ability to interpret at such a high level, and his ability to quickly and professionally adapt to situations in high paced environments. Cannot recommend him highly enough.”

Megan Smith, International Disability Alliance

All of our interpreters are registered with the NRCPD and have enhanced DBS clearance.
